Welcome to Family Fellowship in Fifty
Where we talk, share, and learn what God says.
Formerly known as Sunday School, Family Fellowship in Fifty or F3 for short provides an opportunity for students of all ages to discuss various concepts about the Bible within a fun and supportive environment. F3 is broken down into the following five sections:
- The Hook
- The Book
- The Look
- The Took
- The Cook
9:00 – 9:10 am The Hook: Real Life Situations
Introduction present day topic and purpose focused lesson.
Each lesson begins with a “Motivation” or “Hook” section. This is a question which is usually of the “brain storming” variety. The purpose is to get learners thinking along the line of the lesson topic and to raise interest in the subject. This section is followed by a “transition” which brings together the motivation question and announces exactly what the lesson covers.
9:10 – 9:25 am The Book: The Bible
The Bible is real and it is our foundation for all lessons. Scripture based lesson and focus discussions to help us better understand God’s WORD. Before class – read the message and DIG DEEPER. Ask yourself; What happened? When and Why did this happen?? Who was the first responder, the most affected? What would you do if it happens to you?
9:25 – 9:40 am The Look: Scripture Focus
Translations – NLT is used by we will you other translation. – read the focus scripture and read additional scriptures to gain understanding (of what means). Look at what does God say about this topic
9:40 – 9:45 am The Took: Scripture Support and Background
Take-a-way – how will one live differently, as a result of the scripture lesson and class discussions, after they have encountered God’s Truth.
9:45 – 9:50 am The Cook: Chew & Chat and Reflect on the Lesson
There is not a lot of time in F3 to share, but it is very important to fellowship with one another, even if it is only of a few minutes. Enjoy a quick “chew and chat” (water and a breakfast bar before worship service). Please eat the snack in the designated room (for easy cleanup).
