Equipped with an inter-generational church model, Dr. Daniels envisions SBCAA as a church, “Where everybody is somebody and everybody is connected”.

For seven years, Dr. Daniels led the Smithfield Baptist Church in Gloucester, Virginia. While there he implemented an inter-generational ministry focus to guide the spiritual and physical renewal of the church. Dr. Daniels coined the phrase “Worship Without Limits” encouraging believers to glorify and honor God without reservation or limitations.

Dr. Daniels earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University, a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary. Dr. Daniels received extensive Clinical Pastoral Education training in the Riverside Health System in Newport News, VA. There he provided pastoral care and counseling as a staff chaplain.

He exemplifies leadership in his home as the husband of Elder Dr. Trina L. Daniels, and the proud father of three children: Davion, Yhasman, and Steven II. He models above reproach behavior and integrity in his public and private life.

Dr. Daniels gives the glory and honor to Almighty God for the blessed life he lives. His ministry stands on the bold declaration of Romans 8:31 “If GOD Be For Us, Who Can Be Against Us?”
